Kristen Cook and Stephanie Buckman said it best....we won't be able to stop bullying altogether but it certainly would help if we taught our children to accept and respect our peers with their differences. It would take a very brave, confident individual/child/onlooker to stand up against bullying. I think alot of kids WANT to stand up against it but are too afriad (that the bullying would turn onto them, etc). But if one brave individual did, I think others would quickly join them. The 'pack mentality' certainly comes into play here.
